Ben Pollon joins IYC as Yacht Sales Consultant

One of three recent additions to the growing IYC Fort Lauderdale team, Ben Pollon has joined IYC as a Yacht Sales Consultant. Like so many of the IYC team Ben brings many years of practical experience to the role, with over 15 years of working in the marine industry.
Born in Tanzania and raised in the Turks and Caicos Islands, Ben spent most of his young life in or on the water. Moving straight into the marine industry in Fort Lauderdale, he worked for a decade in the shipyard maintenance and repair sector before making the move to join yachts and work in the yachting industry full time. Starting off as senior officer he rose quickly through the ranks and obtained his Master 3000GT before captaining large charter and private yachts around the world, including 50m Feadship Broadwater, 58.2m Trinity Unbridled and 46.1m Burger Sycara IV.
Having now come ashore, Ben Pollon joins the IYC team with a wide variety of industry knowledge and a strong understanding of yachts both on or off the water. “I am delighted to be joining IYC and continuing my passion for the yachting industry in a shore based role".
