Countdown to the Monaco Yacht Show 2016: Magnificent Martha Ann

14th September 2016
The Monaco Yacht Show is the superyacht industry’s biggest and most spectacular event and IYC is counting down to the 2016 show with a look at some of the most exciting yachts on display.

With more than 120 yachts on display at the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show there is a huge variety on offer for visitors, from motor yachts to explorer yachts, sailing yachts, timeless classics and more. But there can be no doubt that it is the biggest of the yachts that are the most impressive sight when walking along the docks.

Built by Lürssen in 2008, with a refit in 2016, 70.1m Martha Ann is one of the largest yachts on display at the show and is a true head turner. “She is an amazing yacht, built by an owner with impeccable taste, and represents great value,” says her listing broker Frank Grzeszczak, Sales Consultant and Partner IYC USA.

Here are just five reasons why Martha Ann is deservedly one of the show’s must see yachts.

1.  Best priced yacht of her size on the market
Not just one of the most impressive yachts on the market, Martha Ann is also the best value yacht in her size range. When compared to other yachts of her size for sale she is the best value yacht by gross tonnage available today. “As well as offering a huge amount of yacht for an incredible price, Martha Ann is the perfect opportunity for an owner looking to avoid a four year build period and make a turnkey purchase,” says Frank Grzeszczak.

 2. 15,000sqm of pure luxury
Martha Ann has an impressive volume, with enviable on board spaces totaling 15,000sqm. Attention to detail can be seen throughout the yacht, which boasts 5* amenities including an infinity pool with swim-up bar, gym and movie theatre. A sumptuous, opulent interior is the last word in luxury and onboard features include tromp l’oeil murals, a four-deck elevator, a baby grand piano and a sweeping entrance lobby.

 3. $16 million value of millwork
The list of noteworthy features on board Martha Ann is almost endless but it is impossible not to mention her exquisite millwork. Stunning marquetry, executed by the world’s most skilled craftsmen, creates an unforgettable design effect and perfectly complements her stunning interior.

 4. Popular charter yacht with a tried and tested record
“Martha Ann is a one of a kind yacht and has an amazing charter record,” says Katya Jaimes, Sales and Charter Consultant at IYC. She is ideal for a client looking to acquire a yacht that has already proven herself on the charter market.” Run by an exemplary crew, whose sole focus is on guest enjoyment, she is able to accommodate 18 guests making her perfect for a large group of family and friends.

 5. Pedigree construction and design
Built by Lürssen, with exterior styling by Espen Oeino and naval architecture and interior styling by Zuretti, Martha Ann’s pedigree construction and design is clear. Designed by a hugely experienced owner the yacht is the culmination of many years of ownership combined with the vision of a talented design and build team. “Martha Ann is an impeccable example of German engineering, built by Lürssen which is the world’s leading builder in this size range,” says Grzeszczak. “Her design team have created an elegant and majestic yacht that is completely timeless.”
