54’6″/16.61m M/Y Velsheda for sale with IYC
IYC is pleased to welcome 54′ 6″ (16.61m) M/Y Velsheda to its sales fleet. Listed by Brendan Roney, this classically style British-built motor yacht by Camper & Nicholson is currently lying in Florida.
Demonstrating excellent craftsmanship and a versatile, well thought out, layout, Velsheda is the epitome of luxury. Clean lines, a stunning deck and a deep blue hull all contribute to a timeless design that will never go out of fashion. On deck, a sheltered cockpit features twin sofas and tables, which create an inviting al fresco dining area. Just behind this, two custom sun pads allow guests to relax in the sun whilst enjoying sea views. Her open foredeck is an uncluttered space, with removable sun pads converting the deck to another sunbathing area as needed. Aft, a large and elegantly designed swim platform is the perfect place to dive into the water when at anchor.
Connected to the cockpit via large glass doors, the pilothouse benefits from excellent indoor-outdoor flow. Here, guests can relax on a C-shaped settee, use the same space for dining, cook in the galley, or sit at the comfortable twin seats at the vessel’s helm station. The helm station itself boasts leather, steel and mahogany detailing alongside high quality navigation equipment and analog instruments. Whether behind the wheel or not, guests can enjoy panoramic sea views from Velsheda’s windows. The vessel’s engines are cleverly positioned aft, to reduce vibration and engine noise in the vessel’s guest quarters.
Two staterooms are arranged as a double and a twin, with an additional staff cabin making a “crewed” vessel a possibility. Both cabins benefit from an en suite head, with separate shower. The master offers yet more space in its roomy foyer. Her interior is a truly elegant combination of rich wood paneling and soft furnishings, with a design style described as a mix of traditional British and Italian.
An extremely seaworthy vessel, Velsheda features a low center of gravity to reduce roll and a deep V hull design – this allows her to keep high speeds even in large waves, and offer more stability and improved direction at mooring. Powered by 715 HP Caterpillar engines, she cruises at the fast speed at 28 knots.
Launched in 2013, she was built to the highest standards by expert craftsmen, and has been maintained to an excellent standard ever since.
