IYC’s Charter Fleet Earns Three World Superyacht Awards 2026 Nominations
IYC is proud to announce that three exceptional yachts from our Greek fleet have been nominated for the prestigious BOAT International World Superyacht Awards (WSA) 2026. This outstanding recognition is a true testament to the extraordinary build quality, innovation, and excellence that define the superyachts we represent.
The nominations for these annual awards span several categories covering refitted yachts, semi-displacement and displacement motor yachts, among others - each a celebration of what the global superyacht industry offers.
Now in its 21st edition, and held in association with The Italian Sea Group and Acquera Club, the World Superyacht Awards are globally acclaimed as one of the most important award events in the superyacht calendar. They celebrate the innovation, craftsmanship, and exceptional design skill that represent the highest standards in the industry. All shortlisted yachts exceed 98’ (30m), and categories are determined in consultation with shipyards, architects, and designers to ensure each yacht is fairly judged. Among this year’s 2026 WSA shortlist are the following IYC yachts:

TALIA | WSA category: Refitted yachts.
This award category is open to all yachts over 98’ (30m) that have undergone significant refit projects or rebuilds. The 144’ (44m) TALIA is one of the nominees. Built in 2007, the IYC charter yacht underwent a comprehensive refit in 2025.
By upgrading and refreshing the offerings throughout the project, TALIA has emerged as a brand-new yacht offering a top-tier yacht charter experience. The transformative refit included state-of-the-art entertainment and communication systems, the integration of advanced onboard technology, and an impressive selection of new water toys added to the inventory.
Wellness is also a focus on board, with dedicated facilities including a sauna and a fully equipped gym. On deck, guests can relax in the Jacuzzi, enjoy alfresco film nights, and entertainment at the barbecue and bar. Spacious, generous social areas and refreshed modern interiors make her an excellent choice for families and groups for up to 12.

RAJA² | WSA category: Semi displacement/planing motor yachts 40m and above
This category includes yachts that can displace less than their own weight of water when under power at full speed, in which this 180’ (55m) Admiral superyacht does. A sistership to GECO, RAJA² was designed entirely in-house by The Italian Sea Group’s Admiral’s Style Center.
The striking hull colour, streamlined silhouette, and dynamic profile make her recognizable, while the expansive use of glazing creates an ideal flow between indoor and outdoor living, with interiors full of natural light.
An open stern provides access to the water for watersports, and generous outdoor spaces across the yacht offer dining and lounging areas perfect for IYC charter guests. The sundeck Jacuzzi and touch-and-go helipad complete the offerings. Inside, RAJA² strikes a balance between modern and classic with marble finishes, intricate details, and mirrored surfaces. While cutting-edge technology and high-performance engineering underpin her build philosophy.

ADMIRAL BY G. ARMANI (from the ADMIRAL by G. Armani series) | WSA category: Displacement motor yachts (1,500 GT - 2,499 GT)
IYC’s final award contender is for the displacement motor yacht category (1,500GT - 2,499GT), which covers yachts that, when moving at full speed, displace water equal to their own weight - known as displacement yachts.
The ADMIRAL 72 by G. Armani, with its bold, geometric lines, represents one of the most impressive collaborations in superyacht design. Conceived by one of the world’s most celebrated names in fashion and luxury, it was the first yacht in the Admiral Armani 72 series and set a new benchmark for design aesthetics.
IYC played a central role in the development of the series, having sold both projects to the same owner during the new-build phase. The company later resold the first hull in May 2025.
Looking ahead, IYC will introduce the GECO by G. Armani to the charter market beginning June 2026, offering guests the opportunity to experience this exceptional collaboration.
There are various highlights for life onboard. Upper decks feature floating terraces and alfresco lounges that blur the boundary of interior and exterior, crowned by a helipad. And, a large beach club and an aft main-deck pool provide a platform for relaxation, complemented by a private spa. Every space onboard reflects a commitment to the finest materials and thoughtful use of space.
IYC At The World Superyacht Awards 2026
IYC is excited about the highly anticipated awards ceremony in Venice, Italy, on 1-2 May 2026, marking the third year the iconic city will host the event. Judged by a distinguished panel of current and former superyacht owners, the World Superyacht Awards represent the ultimate seal of approval.
We are honored to have these three nominees, reflecting the collective ambition of the owners, shipyards, designers, and refit teams who are consistently pushing the limits of what is possible for our yacht owners and charter clients. We are incredibly excited to see the result and extend our congratulations to everyone involved.
