After graduating with a First-Class Honours degree in Psychology, Alice set her sights on a dynamic and unconventional career path - joining the crew of a 110-metre superyacht. There, she gained invaluable first-hand experience operating in both the private and charter sectors, navigating some of the world's most sought-after cruising destinations.
Immersed in the day-to-day realities of life at sea, she developed a deep appreciation for the intricate logistics, service standards, and attention to detail that define world-class yacht charters. Upon returning to the UK, Alice transitioned ashore to join the renowned team at Burgess as a Charter Management Assistant. This role proved pivotal in her professional development, offering her a comprehensive view of the charter market from the management side.
She worked closely with yacht owners, captains, brokers, and charter clients, enhancing her understanding of the commercial strategy behind successful charter operations, as well as the importance of aligning owner expectations with guest satisfaction.
