This April, IYC is attending six yacht shows worldwide, from Europe to Asia. These shows provide the perfect platform to showcase our luxury yacht fleet, which is available for charter and sale in the diverse worldwide regions in which we operate.
At these must-attend events, our expert consultants and clients will have the opportunity to tour yachts, network with industry professionals, meet charter crews, view new yacht projects, and enjoy the show's destination.
Here are the upcoming yacht shows and where IYC and our fleet will be and when:
Heading to Greece next, IYC will be at the 9th edition of the Mediterranean Yacht Show organized by the Greek Yachting Association. Held in the Port of Nafplion, it is the perfect location to highlight and provide valuable insights into the various Greek cruising grounds where IYC has a strong presence.
This unique event is the largest crewed charter show and will have nearly 100 yachts on display. From the IYC fleet, there will be one of the most extensive lineups with up to 27 of our outstanding charter yachts. The four-day event is one of IYCs favorites to showcase Greece's exceptional cruising grounds and the vast choice of luxury charter yachts on offer for 2024 and beyond.
The next couple of months of yacht shows are kicked off stateside with the Newport Beach International Boat Show, with over 200 boats descending on the Lido Marina Village. There will also be over 75 exhibitors who will showcase the latest marine technology, accessories, and services.
A newly added show to the US event scene and as one of California's largest boat shows, attendees can not only view a range of boats but also enjoy the yachting lifestyle and Newport way of life, complete with live performances, food and drink, and a range of amenities and shopping. Our US team will be on hand at this second edition of NBIBS to discuss our range of brokerage and yacht sale listings.
A highlight on the yachting calendar is the 34th edition of the prestigious MYBA charter show, a trade-only event. Launched in 1990e, this year marks its 40th anniversary. Having been hosted for the past five years at Marina Port Vell in Barcelona, this year introduces a change of location, now bringing together charter professionals in Italy at Genoa's Marina Molo Vecchio.
It is the ideal opportunity to showcase our finest crewed charter yachts prior to the busy Mediterranean charter season. There will be around 500 exhibitors at the event, including a selection of our fleet that will offer guided tours.
The show also hosts its annual Superyacht Chefs Competition on April 25. This year's theme focuses on the host country - an Italian fusion dinner party - where chefs will combine their favorite country's cuisine with Italian elements for charter guests. Throughout the 4-day event, various soirees and social events will be arranged for attendees.
Representing our expansion into Asia's dynamic yachting market, IYC will attend the rebranded Singapore Yacht Show, which has evolved into the Singapore Yachting Festival since its successful inaugural edition last year. Among the impressive yachts on show, GALILEO is confirmed to be available for viewing at the four-day event in Singapore.
It will be held at ONE 15 Marina Sentosa Cove, one of Asia's yachting hubs, with new superyacht berths that welcome over 70 yachts. To showcase the yachting lifestyle, the festival will include a Lifestyle Festival Market that spotlights a mix of luxury pop-up retail and food and drink facilities. The show, a collaboration between ONE 15 Events Management and SG Marine Guide, aims to attract younger clients to Asia's yachting scene by showcasing the yachting lifestyle.
As the Mediterranean summer fast approaches, the 40th edition of the Palma International Boat Show will signal the season's beginnings. With over 32,000 visitors last year to Moll Vell Marina, it is a popular show. With the Balearic Islands as a prime cruising destination and Palma as its hub, a range of yachting seminars, exhibitors, industry-only functions, and social events will be held during the show.
IYC will have a couple of yachts featured within the Superyacht Village, which is the area of the show displaying yachts over 24 meters. Our expert consultants will be on hand to talk through pre-season charter deals. The Superyacht Village will also host a Refit & Repair zone and the Yachting Ventures Innovation Corner to highlight forward-thinking startups in the industry.
Some of our team and fleet will also be in Greece for the East Mediterranean Multihull & Yacht Charter Show on the picturesque island of Poros. This show focuses on multihulls and displays a wide selection of charter yachts. The 20th edition of this crewed charter yacht show is ideal for showcasing the yachts available for charter in the Greek market. It provides a great opportunity to discuss the latest trends and innovations within yachting, especially those that align with crewed catamarans.
From renowned hubs to emerging destinations, a selection of our seasoned team of yacht sales and charter consultants will attend all of these upcoming shows, offering tours of our fleet and sharing insights into some of the best cruising grounds.
