Acico Yachts began as Dutch Yacht Builders in 1995 and was restructured into its current form in 2010, following the acquisition of the Enkhuizen-based facility by the owner of the 160’9” (49m) motor yacht Nassima. Under the leadership of Managing Director Christian Bolinger and in partnership with naval architect Olivier van Meer, the shipyard was repositioned as a boutique builder of high-spec custom and semi-custom yachts.
Today, Acico delivers full-cycle construction services from a single integrated site in the Netherlands. The team includes approximately 60 in-house specialists across metalwork, engineering, outfitting, and project coordination. Its portfolio spans motor and sailing yachts from 78’ (24m) to 164’ (50m), built in steel or aluminium, with displacement and semi-displacement hull configurations. Alongside its fully bespoke projects, the yard offers two distinct lines: the modern SLE series and the classically styled Zaca sailing yachts.
Signature builds such as Nassima and Lady Dee reflect Acico’s technical agility and design-led approach. Both projects incorporate standout features, from onboard garages and aquariums to full-beam layouts and long-range efficiency. These examples demonstrate the yard’s ability to execute ambitious ideas at scale while maintaining control and precision throughout.
