Palm Beach Spotlight: IYC To Showcase New Sunreef Models
As the Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS) fast approaches - from 19 to 23 March - IYC is set to showcase an impressive lineup of yachts for sale and charter - including some of the most innovative Sunreef models.
With Palm Beach renowned as a prime yachting hub in Florida, offering an exclusive atmosphere and a VIP experience, IYC is excited to return, attracting those clients looking to upgrade or explore new builds ahead of the summer cruising season. Alongside an impressive lineup, IYC will host collaborative events with various partners throughout the show.
“The show’s timing just before the summer season aligns perfectly with the Caribbean cruising season and the pre-summer yacht purchases, allowing buyers to purchase a Sunreef yacht in time for summer cruising or make plans for a custom build,” explains Jamie Swaine, IYC Sales Consultant.
Sunreef’s latest models on display
With the U.S. being a growing market for the Polish catamaran brand, this year’s show will see more models on display. The new Sunreef models, launched last year, are one of the most anticipated at PBIBS and will offer clients a firsthand experience of state-of-the-art technology and design.
Making its debut at the show is AFRIKA, the 11th model in the Sunreef 70 Power range. The 21.3-meter catamaran offers ample space and entertaining options with a spacious aft and flybridge for alfresco dining and bar space. Swaine adds: “The Sunreef 70 Power offers large living spaces and a greater layout flexibility, making it ideal for extended cruising or charter operations.”
The Sunreef 60 Power Eco DOUBLE HAPPINESS will also be featured alongside AFRIKA for more eco-conscious clients. The catamaran for sale stands out with its fully electric propulsion, integrated patented solar panels, and a large lithium battery bank. The 18.3-meter model perfectly balances luxury and sustainable credentials by offering a quiet, vibration-free, zero-emission cruising.
Models like the Sunreef 60 Power Eco demonstrate that you don’t have to compromise on luxury to embrace sustainable yachting and are perfect for those looking for a luxurious yet management yacht with long-range capacity. “The Sunreef 60 Power Eco yachts offer reduced operational costs and minimal environmental impact with its reduced fuel consumption and without sacrificing comfort,” says Swaine.
Both models boast shallow drafts while still being stable in more challenging waters, meaning they are an excellent option for those wanting to cruise The Bahamas - a short hop from Florida.
Building on the success from Dubai
Sunreef’s recent success at the Dubai International Boat Show further solidified its position as a leader in luxury yachting. The worldwide debut of the Sunreef Ultima 55 was met with immense excitement, alongside strong interest in the Sunreef 80 Power and Sunreef 80 Eco models, especially from those looking at long-range, fuel-efficient, and ultra-luxurious yachts.
The Ultima 55, designed and built at Sunreef's new facility in Ras Al Khaimah, was a standout, while the Sunreef 80 models attracted clients seeking long-range, fuel-efficient, and ultra-luxurious yachts. “The strategic location allows Sunreef to efficiently cater to clients in the UAE, the Middle East, and Asia, responding to the growing demand for luxury catamarans in these markets,” explains Swaine.
“The Dubai show proved to be a defining moment for Sunreef’s expansion into the Middle Eastern and global markets, with a strong presence, exclusive sea trials, and high-profile client engagements,” adds Swaine.
