MOONEN 122 MARTINIQUE YN205 Sold by IYC

2nd June 2025

IYC is delighted to announce the successful in-house sale of the MOONEN MARTINIQUE YN205, a new build motor yacht from the prestigious Dutch shipyard Moonen Yachts.

This latest milestone further strengthens IYC's role as the exclusive global sales representative for Moonen Yachts - a partnership marked by shared values of innovation, excellence, and craftsmanship.

Matthew Stone, Managing Partner of IYC California, and Sales Consultant Josh Marshall facilitated the sale. Matthew Stone also represented the shipyard alongside Richard Gray, IYC Head of UK Sales, both acting as IYC's official Moonen representatives.

"We are proud to announce the successful in-house sale of the YN205 122' MARTINIQUE," says Richard Gray. "It's a true testament to the hard work, dedication, and seamless collaboration between IYC and Moonen Yachts. This milestone reflects our shared commitment to our Global Sales Representation of the shipyard, and we look forward to supporting the team in more future sales to come," adds Gray.

The buyer, an American client, was introduced by IYC and chose Moonen after a thorough selection process. "In our initial conversations with the client, we interviewed six different yards, which were then shortlisted to three. Moonen stood above the rest for this client, providing everything they were looking for in terms of quality, comfort, and safety," explains Matthew Stone.

"The flexibility of the shipyard was truly what got this deal across the finish line; this vessel was scheduled for delivery in four weeks, and we have now postponed that due to the client's desire for customization options, which is a true testament to Moonen's client-centric approach," adds Stone. Among the custom elements being incorporated is a Jacuzzi installation on the spacious sundeck, as confirmed by Moonen Yachts Technical Director Nicky van Zon. Once further works are completed the yacht will be based on the East Coast of the US.

At 122'8" (37.38m), the MOONEN MARTINIQUE YN205 is the seventh hull in the series and reflects the unmistakable DNA of Moonen's Dutch pedigree, combining innovation with timeless design and distinct and elegant lines courtesy of award-winning Rene van de Velden. The sophisticated interiors are from Hollander Yacht Design.

Built to uncompromising standards, the yacht boasts a fast-displacement hull and an impressive 4,000 nautical mile range, paired with a shallow draft of 7' (2.2m). This versatile profile allows access to worldwide marinas while also offering transoceanic capabilities under an unrestricted cruising registry.

The yacht has a gross tonnage of 345 GT, providing ample space for entertaining, dining, and lounging both indoors and outdoors. The design prioritizes indoor-outdoor living, further enhanced by wraparound windows that allow natural light to flood in. Accommodation is available for 12 guests across five cabins, and for added flexibility, there are hidden Pullman beds.

A spacious 215-square-foot swim platform, a 19' (6m) tender garage, foredeck storage for jet skis, and a 700-square-foot sundeck with lounging and dining areas reflect the yacht's lifestyle credentials.

The technical spaces, designed by Diana Yacht Design - Moonen's trusted engineering partner - ensure low noise and vibration levels through meticulous engineering and rigorous sea trials.

IYC's exclusive global partnership with Moonen Yachts, which has successfully represented the MUSTIQUE 110 for the American market, has since evolved into a strong collaboration focused on delivering ocean-going luxury yachts.
