141’6" (43m) Cantiere delle Marche PROJECT 2212 Sold By IYC

23rd January 2024

IYC is thrilled to announce its second new-build sale with Cantiere delle Marche in 2024. This new project, a sistership to the award-winning ACALA, will be part of the new Deep Blue 43m range, following the original custom-built project. The 141’ (43m) yacht, with exterior design by Horacio Bozzo and interior design by the UK-based Vickers Design Studio, is set to be delivered in February 2027 and continues the legacy of her predecessor, ACALA.

Head of Sales UK Richard Gray, who represented the Buyer commented, “The project has been sold to a very experienced British client, who started the journey with me by reviewing the 105’ Darwin, and 115’ Darwin, before deciding on the Deep Blue 43m. Having previously owned multiple production yachts, the client's aspiration to circumnavigate the globe is met seamlessly by the unparalleled capabilities of CdM, who provide an optimal platform for such an ambitious endeavor. We are thrilled to be able to bring the client's dream to life through the customisation and visionary craftsmanship synonymous with Cantiere delle Marche.”

John Vickers of Vickers Design Studio commented, “This is Vickers Studios' first full project with CdM, and we could not be more proud to start the interior design work for the second of these Deep Blue 43m world cruising yachts. Alongside IYC and White Waters, we join a highly professional owners team who have already brought further refinement to this award-winning yacht package. Our interior design will highlight the owner's lifelong passion for yachting and world travels in an authentic architectural style. The hugely experienced owner is driving the process of creating what will be a superb addition to the CDM fleet.”

The modern and sophisticated design of the Deep Blue line seamlessly bridges the gap between a rugged explorer yacht and the timeless lines of an oceangoing luxury vessel. Boasting an exceptional 4,000+ nautical mile range, she has all the capabilities for true global exploration.

Carlo Aquilanti, Head of Sales at CdM, commented, “We didn’t become the world leaders in the construction of explorer yachts by chance or for a stroke of luck. This achievement is not merely an occurrence; rather, it is the manifestation of our relentless commitment, a journey that proceeds propelled by our unwavering determination to build the most reliable vessels possible, and by our will to adhere to our strategic course. Our incredibly successful partnership with IYC is a strong testament to that.”

In a testament to IYC's unwavering commitment to growth and expansion, the completion of this transaction marks the second successful sale in January for the UK team, highlighting their dedication and collaborative spirit. Notably, the inauguration of the new office on Conduit Street stands as a pivotal milestone, strategically positioned to provide clients with a distinctive alternative to their counterparts in London. This expansion not only amplifies the geographical reach of IYC’s services but also introduces a more tailored and personable approach, further enhancing the client experience.
