The entire owner’s team, represented by Michel Chryssicopoulos of IYC, attended the launch ceremony, with the shipyard organizing digital streaming for those who were unable to be there in person due to global travel restrictions. “It gives us great satisfaction to see the huge amount of hard work materialize in such a beautiful custom-built yacht. Despite the difficulties of these unprecedented times, the team and the shipyard worked seamlessly together to achieve this stunning result,” commented Michel.

GECO’s highlights include six spacious cabins – with full-beam Master and VIP staterooms – a large jacuzzi pool, and numerous spacious outdoor lounge areas to enjoy al fresco living. Following the owner’s instructions, the shipyard’s design of the yacht encourages a very social and relaxed environment. Her Touch and Go helipad can be transformed into a “Happy Hour Buddha Bar” lounge area with an outdoor cinema where guests can enjoy a drink, gaze at the stars or watch their favorite movie.

Built with charter guests in mind, GECO is equipped with the latest technologies and high-end equipment that will make her a hugely popular vessel. For those on board looking for heart-racing activities during the day, GECO has an abundance of water toys including three jet skis, an inflatable jet ski dock, a waterslide, a climbing wall, clear-bottomed kayaks, and the latest in snorkeling and diving gear. GECO will be joining the IYC Charter Fleet based out of Greece.

Guests will be served by a dedicated crew of 13. “We are looking forward to welcoming GECO’s first guests on board this summer,” commented Captain George Ioannou. “She is the newest and one of the finest charter yachts currently available and the perfect vessel to explore the East Med.
