Deck To Dining: The Best Michelin Star Restaurants Accessible By Yacht

Gourmet dining experiences are at the heart of every luxury yacht experience. From morning through to evening, your private chef onboard uses the best quality ingredients to deliver high-end culinary treats to you throughout the day. Menus are tailored to you regardless of your preference and mood for that day.

Alongside the onboard experiences, you can easily step ashore from a luxury superyacht or tender to appreciate some of the world's best culinary experiences. Here we include some of our favorite spots - and the finest Michelin-starred restaurants - easily accessed during a yachting vacation:

360 - Dubrovnik

On a Croatian yacht charter itinerary, Dubrovnik is a must-visit destination. Exuding charm and history, this walled medieval city is also home to some of the finest dining restaurants, including 360. The restaurant is located behind a secret door within the ancient city walls, set on a terrace upon the Fortress of St John.

Offering panoramic views of the harbor, the restaurant has the most creative menu with signature dishes, including beef with ponzu gel, pearl onion cream, celery, and largo. The wine list is packed full of over 450 labels to choose from, perfectly accompanying all dishes.

Disfrutar - Barcelona

Docked in the heart of Barcelona at the iconic Marina Port Vell, step onto the dock, and you are close by to Disfrutar. Helmed by a trio of chefs from the iconic El Bulli, this two-Michelin-starred restaurant offers a delicious yet playful tasting menu that reflects classic Mediterranean flavors.

On a yacht charter itinerary exploring this vibrant Spanish city, there are plenty of restaurants to try, but a table at Disfrutar is a firm must. While indulging in the incredible food scene of Barcelona, head to the city's oldest market, La Boqueria, where you can sample and purchase an array of local treats. For the best experience, take your yacht chef along or get a private guided tour and tasting sessions.

La Vague D’Or - St Tropez

St Tropez is home to the three-starred La Vague D'Or. The restaurant offers direct access via the yacht's tender within the luxurious Cheval Blanc hotel on Bouillabaisse Beach. Chef Arnaud Donckele uses Provencal flavors with contemporary flair, thanks to using the finest local produce.

The setting, with views of the Bay of St Tropez, is as enjoyable as the dishes. Courses such as the baby lobster with broad beans, white asparagus tips, and black truffle and foie gras-stuffed pasta can be washed down with their outstanding French wine list.

Il San Pietro - Positano

Italy is renowned for its fantastic gastronomy, and with its 28 Michelin-starred restaurants, the Amalfi Coast doesn't disappoint. One of the best restaurants, Zass Restaurant, is located in one of the most famous hotels in the world, the iconic San Pietro.

This Michelin-starred restaurant is highly popular on a yacht charter itinerary, thanks to the Mediterranean cuisine focusing on the traditions of Campania, and many of the ingredients are sourced from the hotel's garden. Alongside the mouthwatering dishes and romantic ambiance, the restaurant is on the most idyllic terraces with incredible views back down to the yacht.

Confusion - Sardinia

Close to the marina of Porto Vecchio, be sure to book in at Confusion. Holding one Michelin star, the restaurant blends Sardinian specialties with international influences thanks to chef Italo Bassi, offering a contemporary approach to fine dining.

The lavish gold-toned interiors, glass-walled open kitchen, impressive champagne list, and food set the stage for an incredible experience. Beyond the Porto Cervo restaurant, guests can also indulge in a 'show cooking' experience from Chef Bassi aboard the yacht, bringing the restaurant onto the yacht.

Voro - Mallorca

When cruising the Balearic Islands on a yacht charter, there are plenty of chances to experience Michelin-starred dining, especially in Mallorca

The island is home to an impressive 11 Michelin-starred restaurants, with Voro in the lead as the only two-starred restaurant. Situated at Cap Vermell on Mallorca's eastern coast, Voro, meaning 'to devour' in Latin, invites guests on a 'conceptual culinary journey.' Under Chef Alvaro Salazar's vision, the restaurant's 22-course tasting menu is truly outstanding.

Delta - Athens

Whether you decide to book a Michelin restaurant table at the start or the end of your Greek yachting experience, Athens offers an exciting culinary scene, including Delta, an architectural and gastronomic masterpiece set within the iconic Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre.

Perched on the fifth floor, Delta captivates with breathtaking sea views and an avant-garde interior featuring a bronze bar and dreamlike suspended trees. The concept expresses the cultural diversity of contemporary Greece through an architectural atmosphere that alludes to Greek cultural identity. Here, a meticulously crafted tasting experience celebrates sustainability and the finest local ingredients, paired with an exceptional selection of wines and champagnes.

Whether you enjoy the bustling city of Barcelona, the fairytale magic of Dubrovnik, or the culinary capitals of the French Riviera, a yacht charter offers endless opportunities to book a table at the world's best Michelin-starred restaurants.Â
