Notable deliveries

Throughout its history, Lürssen Yachts has delivered a series of remarkable vessels that have become some of the most iconic and celebrated yachts in the superyacht industry. 

Azzam, measuring an impressive 180 meters in length, is considered to be the world's largest and most luxurious private yacht since her delivery. A remarkable example of engineering excellence combined with luxury, Lürssen's Azzam exemplifies the shipyard's capability to break new boundaries.

The 2000s marked a pivotal moment for Lürssen Yachts when they unveiled the groundbreaking 126m explorer motor yacht Octopus. With her innovative features, including a helicopter pad and a submarine, Octopus became a symbol of opulence and technical prowess. During this same decade three other magnificent superyachts were delivered: 138m Rising Sun, 97m Carinthia VII and 93m schooner sailing yacht EOS.

In the years 2010, superyacht Dilbar made the headlines for her impressive size and volume. This 156m yacht features striking exterior design by Espen Øino and a lavish interior crafted by Winch Design. Dilbar stands out not only for her sheer scale but also for her advanced technical features and state-of-the-art amenities. Other notable launches included the 124m Katara and 123m Golden Odyssey.

Over the last few years, three large Lürssen superyachts have gained substantial attention: the 141m Nord, the 136m Flying Fox and the 115m AHPO.

Design collaborations on models and projects

The German shipyard's successful integration of renowned architects, designers, and stylists into their design processes have had a lasting impact on the distinctiveness of Lürssen's yachts.

Lürssen Yachts have come together with renowned yacht designer Espen Øino to produce some of the most iconic vessels to date. Øino's proficiency when it comes to sleek looks and complementary features blends perfectly with Lürssen's engineering proficiency and know-how. Project achievements have included remarkable yachts such as Dilbar, Amadea, and Flying Fox, where Øino's design focus has augmented Lürssen's engineering to manifest visually breath-taking and technically advanced superyachts.

The partnership between Lürssen and Winch Design has resulted in some of the most luxurious and exquisitely detailed yachts in the world. Collaborative projects such as Tis, Phoenix 2 and ACE showcase the seamless integration of Winch Design's meticulous attention to detail with Lürssen's dedication to engineering excellence.

Lürssen's collaboration with Terence Disdale has given rise to yachts that combine timeless aesthetics. The partnership has produced notable vessels such as the 160m Blue and 146m Opera which boast an impressive exterior design and striking profiles.

Lürssen Yachts' and Harrison Eidsgaard's collaboration has has brought a fresh and contemporary touch to Lürssen's portfolio. Boasting dynamic exteriors and sophisticated interiors, Harrison Eidsgaard's expertise has added a modern edge to the Lürssen catalog, exemplified by the captivating 95m Madsummer.
