Raised in Belgium, Aurélien Herman spent his childhood vacation on the French Riviera, where his interest for yachts arose. This interest turned into a passion and he began to deepen his knowledge of the yachting industry. In 2016, Aurélien joined a well-known yachting media publication in Amsterdam as Database Manager. That position has allowed his to sharpen his market expertise and attend major yacht shows in Europe. In 2022, Aurélien begins a new professional adventure by joining IYC in Greece where he will bring his Yacht Market Intelligence skills to assist the Sales and Marketing departments.
Aurélien speaks French, English and some Dutch. In his spare time, he enjoys biking, swimming as well as listening to jazz music and has interests in architecture and economics.
