Following his graduation from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos in 2016, Iason was sailing on commercial worldwide trading tankers as a Deck Officer onboard. In 2020 he entered the yachting industry where he took up the role of Chief Mate on private and charter yachts.
In parallel to his career on board, Iason chose to further his education with a Diploma in Shipping Management from Lloyd’s Maritime Academy and completed his master's degree in Shipping from Plymouth University.
Half Swedish, half Greek, Iason is fluent in English, Swedish, and Greek. In his free time, Iason can generally be found on a plane traveling around the world, or taking up another language, expanding his language skills.
