IYC is pleased to announce the sale of 69’11″/21.31m Marquis IRIDESCENCE by Matthew Stone in an in-house deal. The yacht was sold within three months following her listing.
The 65’ Marquis is a blend of Italian style and American craftsmanship. The 65’s three-stateroom layout and communal areas have ample space for all guests onboard, with an interior volume often seen on much larger vessels, with a 6’8” headroom in nearly every room.
The large main salon features comfortable seating, built-in roman shades, and a flat-screen TV. Forward of the salon is a galley with a full-size double door fridge, flat stovetop, microwave, and sink. On the starboard side, there is a dining table to accommodate six guests in addition to a beautiful staircase that leads up to the flybridge, providing two access points, which is extremely rare on this size vessel.
There is a large built-in dining nook with circular bench seating and a table forward of the galley. The yacht boasts three staterooms, including a full-beam master and a sizable VIP cabin, comfortably sleeping six guests. Each cabin boasts plenty of built-in cabinets and storage and features beautiful high gloss joinery.
Moving upstairs to the large air-conditioned flybridge, there is a wet bar complete with a grill, two plush helm seats, and a built-in bench seating surrounding a large dining table. The flybridge is a perfect mix of a shaded area and open-air, as there is an uncovered aft flybridge deck – complete with safety rails – for those to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views.
The 65’ Marquis has a large hydraulic swim platform with a mounting cradle for the 13’6” Nautica Tender with Yamaha 60HP engines. Her large fuel capacity means she has an excellent cruising range, and her engine room (which is located forward of the crew quarters) is large and easy to maneuver around. The engines have been maintained by an experienced crew and houses two MTU 1350 HP diesel engines.
In 2014, she underwent a full repaint from the renowned and trusted AwlGrip brand, ensuring quality. Iridescence recently had a complete survey to confirm her condition, in which she passed with flying colors and can be provided to committed parties. Luxury teak decks throughout, a recent refit included new electronics, updated bottom paint, and prop speed. Both electric bow and stern thruster motors were rebuilt, engines have proactively had their 2000hr service, and the manufacturer-recommended service on the generator has been completed by RPM diesel.
