IYC is proud to announce the sale of 236’3’’/72m Tankoa Solo by Kevin Bonnie, IYC Managing Partner Monaco. Solo is an iconic yacht that was built in 2018 by Italian yard Tankoa Yachts with design work by Francesco Paszkowski and an interior by Francesco Paszkowski in collaboration with Margherita Casprini.
Combining performance and style, Solo has benefitted from extensive design investment and technologies that make her extraordinarily efficient to run, with low emissions and an impressive range of 9000nm that makes her capable of global exploration.
Solo is a multi Award winner including the Best Ecological Design and Operation Innovation Award categories from the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards 2019, the most Efficient Yacht from World Yachts Trophies 2018, The Game Changer Award and finalist status in the Best Exterior Styling Motor Yachts 60m and Above, Best Interior Design Motor Yachts 500GT and Above and a nomination in the Displacement Motor Yachts between 500GT and 1,999GT category at the World Superyacht Awards 2019.
Solo’s ‘modern, minimalist and warm’ styling, that makes use of natural materials where possible, has a contemporary feel and blends satin finish marble with high-gloss Macassar ebony. Designed with charter in mind, she is a savvy investment that incorporates all the elements needed to host large charter groups while also being perfect for private use.
Solo is able to welcome 12 guests with six impressive cabins – the Master, VIP, two doubles and two twins that can convert to doubles. One of the most stand out features of her design is the huge owners apartment, which is a true oasis designed for relaxed luxury. This exceptional space includes a private owners deck, with sunpads and a Jacuzzi, the owners cabin and private media lounge and study.
Guest spaces abound throughout the yacht, with multiple spaces to enjoy. Large salons are located on both the main and upper decks. The main salon features a generous lounge space, bar, entertainment system and distinct formal dining area. The main deck also features a beautiful winter garden for enjoying year round. On the upper deck the salon is another welcoming retreat with comfortable seating, a large television and entertainment system and a baby grand piano.
Outdoor spaces have all been optimized, with seamless indoor outdoor flow. A large 6-meter infinity pool on the main aft deck benefits from beautiful views. The owner's deck is home to a large sheltered space that includes an al fresco dining set up and seating, while the sundeck promises 360º views and seating – perfect as a gathering space. A touch and go helipad transforms to dance floor for partying under the stars.
Another stand out feature is the oversized on-water beach club, which has a lounge and bar and doubles as an RYA Water Sports centre.A huge selection of toys and tenders includes two Dariel custom 7.5m tenders, three SeaBobs, three Waverunners, two Jet Surf GPs, a Sport Blob, trampoline, towables, floating jellyfish-proof pool, paddle boards, kayaks, diving and snorkelling gear and more.
The beach club connects with the yacht’s wellness hub, which includes a glass-walled gym, a Sauna and Hammam Spa and chilled water shower, both with a fold out terrace balcony to bring the outside in.
Powered by 2 x Cat 3516 B DITA-SCAC HD engines, Solo cruises at 15 knots. She has twin classification – RINA and Lloyds – with high end equipment including an integrated bridge and advanced security systems for the owner quarters.
