Founded in 1895 in Vigo, Spain, Freire Shipyard began as a small builder and repairer of wooden fishing vessels serving local fleets. In recent years, Freire has expanded its scope into the superyacht market, applying decades of industrial engineering expertise to highly bespoke yacht projects. The shipyard does not offer standard models, instead approaching each commission as a one-off build shaped entirely by owner requirements.
