Planing
Posillipo Yachts has been building motor yachts in Italy since 1942. Originally established in Naples, the yard gradually built a reputation for its flybridge designs, particularly the Technema line, which became familiar to many owners cruising the Mediterranean. In 1964, Posillipo moved operations to a larger facility in Sabaudia, allowing for the expansion of its range and production capacity.
Over the years, Posillipo worked with naval architects such as Tommaso Spadolini and Galeazzi Design to shape a fleet of planing yachts built in fiberglass. In 1993, the brand was acquired by the Rizzardi Group, bringing added production capability and design continuity. After a pause in activity, Posillipo returned to the market with updated versions of its signature models, including the Technema 90.
Today, the yard focuses on yachts from 65’7” to 131’3” (20m to 40m). Owners can select from existing models or request layout changes to suit their needs. Yachts such as Elvi, Silver, and Peftasteri show how the yard adapts familiar platforms to different onboard lifestyles. Most projects are managed in-house at the Sabaudia facility, giving owners a clear path from design to delivery with direct involvement at every stage.
