Sanlorenzo’s range covers planing, semi-displacement, and full-displacement hulls, with models from 75’5” (23m) to 236’2” (72m). Eight distinct lines make up the fleet, including the Alloy, Steel, SD, SX, and X-Space series. Materials vary by platform, with fiberglass, aluminum, steel, and wood used where they make sense. Layouts are flexible, and interiors are often curated in partnership with top-tier architects.

Notable deliveries and models
As demand for larger and more sophisticated yachts continued to grow, Sanlorenzo expanded its portfolio beyond its classic planing yachts with major product families including the SD semi-displacement series, the Steel superyacht range, the Alloy line, and the Explorer and X-Space ranges. Together, the SD, Steel, Alloy, Explorer and X-Space models combine elegant Italian design, advanced engineering and extensive customization, reinforcing Sanlorenzo’s position as one of the world’s leading builders of semi-custom and custom yachts.
Sanlorenzo has continued to redefine onboard living through groundbreaking concepts such as the SX crossover series, which blends the characteristics of a flybridge yacht with those of an explorer vessel. The SP series expands the Sanlorenzo portfolio with high-performance yachts featuring distinctive split-level layouts and a strong emphasis on speed and efficiency. The 44X-Space combines the generous interior volumes of a displacement yacht with the open lifestyle of an explorer yacht. Within the Steel range, the 52m SEVEN SINS stands out as one of the shipyard’s most celebrated deliveries: the first hull of the 52Steel series, she was delivered in 2017 to a complete design by Officina Italiana Design and built on the success of the earlier 46Steel. Awarded a Neptune at the 2018 World Superyacht Awards, this sub-500GT superyacht featured signature features such as a glass-bottomed pool and a float-in tender garage. The first unit of the 50Steel line, the 49.9m ALMAX, is the world’s first superyacht equipped with a green methanol fuel-cell system capable of generating emission-free electricity for hotel loads while at anchor, representing a significant milestone in sustainable yacht design. The Sanlorenzo Steel range spans from 50m to 74m.
Design collaborations on models and projects
Sanlorenzo, renowned for its distinctive approach to yacht design, has established long-term collaborations with some of the world’s leading designers and architects. Notable design collaborations include:
- Zuccon International Project, responsible for the exterior styling and development of numerous models across the SL, SD, SX, SP, Steel and X-Space ranges.
- Francesco Paszkowski Design, which has designed many of the shipyard’s largest superyachts, particularly within the Steel, Alloy and Explorer lines, often collaborating on both exterior styling and interior concepts.
- Officina Italiana Design, which has worked on the exterior design, and in some projects the interiors, of models across the SL, SX and Steel ranges, including the SX88.
- Studio Paolo Ferrari, which designed the interiors of the second 74Steel flagship in collaboration with Sanlorenzo’s in-house Style Department.
Sanlorenzo also works with renowned individual designers, including its art director Piero Lissoni and Patricia Urquiola. These collaborations reflect Sanlorenzo’s philosophy of bringing together internationally recognized architects and designers to create highly customized yachts that combine timeless aesthetics, innovation and sophisticated onboard living.
