Designed by the fashion icon Giorgio Armani for his own personal use, this one-of-a-kind vessel is one of the most sophisticated superyachts available for charter today. Built by Codecasa in 2003, MARIU demonstrates the excellent quality and finish that Italian yachts are famed for. She accommodates 12 guests, with five of her six cabins boasting king sized beds.

Mariu’s interior design is cool and contemporary. An open plan layout really complements her style, with large windows and sleek lines seen throughout her social areas. Luxury materials such as leather, aluminum, teak and bleached oak are used in a muted color scheme that uses texture and tone to create an impact. Guests have both the main lounge, with dining suite and sofa area, and flybridge lounge to choose from when relaxing or socialising inside. The spacious cabins include a master and a VIP, and feature a luxury minimalist décor.
Outside has the feel of an Ibizan beach club, with an uncluttered design, natural woods and grey soft furnishings working together to create a tranquil yet undeniably cool atmosphere. The sundeck is large and well equipped, with Jacuzzi, full bar, sun pads and stylish teak furniture offering every type of relaxation to guests. Stylish canopies provide shade as needed on this level.
Below, the sheltered flybridge deck holds relaxed seating and a full sized dining table that can accommodate all 12 guests. It connects directly with the flybridge’s lounge via concertina doors. Easily reached via wrap around decks, an intimate circular lounge area located on the vessel’s foredeck provides a space for guests to enjoy both sunset cocktails and morning coffees. The main aft deck holds yet more stylish and comfortable chairs and a stunning central table.
Mariu’s impressive water toy collection is too long to list, with the latest technologies, from flyboards to jetpacks included in her inventory. Furthermore, the vessel is a registered RYA training school for personal water craft, with temporary licenses for Jetskis and WaveRunners issued to guests for the duration of their charter vacation. There is no better way to enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean waters.
All four of Mariu’s decks can be easily accessed from the vessel’s elevator, and the accommodation set up with six double cabins works well for all group types. She has 12 highly trained and passionate crew, including an expert charter captain and hugely talented Italian chef, who will impress with course after course of mouthwatering dishes.
