Countdown to FLIBS 2016: M/Y Skyfall
Fresh from being shown at the Monaco Yacht Show, where she proved incredibly popular with visitors, 57.91m (190’) Skyfall is set to make the same impact at FLIBS as a must-see yacht. Built in 2010 by noted American builder Trinity Yachts, with an impressiv refit in 2015, she was designed to suit the warm waters of the Bahamas thanks to her shallow draft that allows easy access to any bay. “There is no doubt that Skyfall is the largest, fastest, Bahamas-friendly shallow draft yacht available on the market today,” says Mark Elliott, sales and charter consultant at IYC.
According to Mark there is good reason that Skyfall has attracted so much attention since being listed for sale, citing her as the best yacht on the market in her size category thanks to her immaculate condition. “Her experienced owner has taken care to upgrade the entire yacht and a host of features make her such an exciting overall package,” he says. “With seven cabins accommodating up to 17 guests, making her perfect for large charter groups, she has also been designed to be wheel chair friendly as an added bonus.” Other popular features include a large tender garage, filled with a wide range of toys and tenders, ample outdoor spaces, and an elevator for easy access between desks. For guests wanting to arrive from the air her helipad allows them to BYOH, bring their own helicopter, and arrive in style. Added to this a recent $3 million price reduction is even more incentive for the savvy buyer. Now asking $33,500,000 Skyfall represents incredible value.
Mark Elliott is looking forward to the show, which he considers one of the most important for both IYC and the superyacht industry. “Fort Lauderdale is the yachting capital of the world, and an important hub for IYC, and FLIBS is the biggest boat show in the world,” he says. “It’s where the important American market comes to buy their yachts and it’s a great area with nice weather as a bonus!”
