In October of this year, we opened our brand new London office. Located in the heart of the iconic Mayfair area of the city, the office is in the same building as the renowned art gallery Offer Waterman. IYC now has 12 offices strategically located across the globe, each positioned to be at the heart of yachting hubs and major cities to best serve our clients.

In other positive news, as we move into the final quarter of the year, the sales market is gaining momentum that mirrors the results seen in 2019 and 2018. Looking at the number of yachts sold in 2020 so far, IYC is proud to be within the top three yacht brokerage houses in the industry, with over 35 sales this year. In November alone, 47.24m (155ft) Loon, 35.05m (115ft) Siete, 39m (128ft) Revelry and 47m (154ft) Africa I, and 40m (131’3ft) Mac Too were sold by the IYC team.

The brokerage sector has shown robust performance in the second half of the year, with 20% more yachts sold than in the same period in 2019 and 2018. Of the yachts sold in 2020, 73% were used vessels and 21% were new build orders.
