After graduating from university, James began his career in private aviation, quickly becoming immersed in its fast-paced, high-standard environment. However, he had long been drawn to the yachting industry, and joining as crew provided the ideal opportunity to make the transition. What began as a career move soon developed into a lasting passion for the industry.

With nearly a decade of experience in yachting, he has worked aboard motor yachts ranging from 35m to 110m, gaining a comprehensive understanding of onboard operations, crew dynamics and the high standards expected within the industry.

During this time, James completed a range of maritime qualifications, including his Yachtmaster Offshore, and cruised extensively throughout some of the world's most sought-after charter destinations. This firsthand experience has given him an in-depth knowledge of the destinations, cruising grounds and experiences that allow him to create truly memorable charters.

Combining his background in private aviation with his extensive experience in yachting, James brings a highly client-focused approach to yacht charter. His time working directly onboard has given him a unique perspective on what makes a yacht, crew and itinerary truly exceptional, allowing him to guide clients towards the vessels and experiences best suited to their individual preferences.

His firsthand knowledge of life onboard, combined with his understanding of the luxury travel sector, allows James to anticipate client needs and provide a seamless, personalised service from the initial enquiry through to the end of each charter.
