Kate grew up in Gulf Stream Florida and developed her interest for yachting at a young age with her father being a strong member of the industry. She spent her childhood weekends falling in love with the ocean at Lyford Cay in the Bahamas. Kate later attended boarding school in Massachusetts where she then went on to study the History of Art and Design with a minor in French at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in New York. Working along side many interior decorators in South Florida, Kate developed strong project management skills and superior attention to detail.
Kate is a passionate member of the yachting industry and a lifelong seasoned sailor. When not supporting the IYC team, she can be spotted at the helm of an International 420 Dinghy, horseback riding, or hitting backhands on the tennis court. Kate brings an enthusiasm and welcome determination to the IYC office.
