Kim Vickery's connection to life on the water began long before her career in yachting. As a native Floridian, she grew up boating along Florida’s Gulf Coast. During the early '90s, Kim moved to Fort Lauderdale in search of new opportunities, a decision that ultimately led her to the yachting industry and a career perfectly aligned with her love of travel, culture, and connecting with people from around the world. Although her early professional background centered on computer technology, Kim quickly discovered her true calling in luxury yachting.

Kim's yachting career began as an executive assistant under the mentorship of the late Rikki Davis, one of the industry's most respected and influential pioneers in retail charter. Through dedication, curiosity, and a genuine ability to connect with people, Kim quickly mastered the intricacies of yacht charter and advanced into the role of Retail Charter Broker, followed by several key positions that broadened her expertise and deepened her knowledge of the global charter market.

Most recently, as Head of Charter at Westport Yachts for eight years, Kim played a pivotal role in launching and developing the company’s charter division.

Now returning to IYC after 18 years, Kim is delighted to be part of the dynamic team and brings a full-circle perspective with more than 25 years of hands-on experience in luxury yacht charter. Her industry knowledge, long-standing relationships, and intimate understanding of the global charter market allow her to expertly match clients with the world's finest yachts and curate personalized experiences in the most sought-after cruising destinations around the globe.

For Kim, luxury yachting is about far more than selecting a beautiful yacht or destination; it is about taking the time to listen and understand what matters most to create an experience that feels effortless, personal, and memorable for the client.
