Following a degree in Economics, a Masters in’ Applied Finance and Banking, and four years of professional consultancy in the banking sector, Nontas took his first steps in the shipping industry as a crew and port agent in an esteemed company in Piraeus, Greece.
His dedication and enthusiasm for the maritime sector saw Nontas transition into the exciting world of yachting, where his applied knowledge has been well received. As a valued member of IYC’s accounting team, Nontas is based in the company’s Greek office. His experience and technical skills help to strengthen and streamline the department’s everyday operations, contributing to IYC’s overall seven-star in-house service.
