A Southern California native, Traci Hughes grew up in Huntington Harbour, CA and began yachting with her family when she was just a babe. Her grandfather, an avid sport fisher, would take the family fishing along the Southern Pacific waters and every year to Cabo San Lucas, MX. Traci grew up yachting, sportfishing and learned she shared her grandfather’s love and passion for the water.

In 2006, through her lifelong passion for yachting, Traci found herself as the office manager for one of the most respected yacht brokerages on the West Coast. Traci continued her personal growth through Yacht Management, marketing and events, sales support and later becoming a Yacht Sales Associate. In 2022, Traci joined IYC as a yacht sales and charter consultant. She is enthusiastic for the opportunities of growth with the IYC team and the new Southern California office location.     

Traci continues to embrace her love of yachting and enjoys being able to share her experience and passion with others. She has built a respected reputation in yacht sales, management, charter, client relationships, and she is a committee chair member of the California Yacht Brokers Association. In her free time she is active with her church, local community and enjoys traveling, dancing and spending time with her family and mini golden doodle.
