A fast semi-displacement, all-aluminum superyacht, she was built by Sanlorenzo in 2011 and is a stunning example of the shipyard’s popular 40 Alloy series. Designed by Francesco Paszkowski, her intelligent use of space and large windows let guests enjoy the fresh air and ocean views, also thanks to Sanlorenzo’s innovative fold-out balcony design.
The stunning master stateroom offers a truly relaxing sanctuary, with a bed that measures over two meters in width, a private balcony, a large steam room shower and convertible gym/office space. The additional four ensuite cabins are arranged as a VIP, a double, and two twins with Pullman berths. Asteri has accommodation for six crew.
As part of her refit in 2019, brand new AV and entertainment equipment was installed on board, including new iPads and iPod stations in each room, satellite TV in the salon and all guests' cabins and an 85' television in the main salon, complete with a Denon home theatre Hi-Fi system, Blue Ray and cinema speakers.
Her vast upper deck will allow her guests to make the most of their surroundings, with a formal exterior dining area, Paola Lenti outdoor furniture, a bespoke varnished teak buffet bar, an innovative Multiplex tenting system and electric bimini shade for sun protection This versatile area also offers an additional interior communal space with sofa seating and a bar – the perfect place onboard to enjoy a cocktail.
Asteri offers an array of sports equipment, which includes a Williams 505 tender, water skis and towable inflatables. Asteri's cruising speed is 24 knots and has a maximum speed of 26 knots. She is powered by two MTU engines, with a fuel capacity of 30,000 liters and a range of 700 nautical miles.

Michel, who is half Greek and half Danish, grew up sailing the waters of Athens and surrounding Greek islands. At the age of 18, he studied International Business and Finance at Georgetown University, in Washington DC. After graduating with honors in 2000, he worked as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch in New York City.
In 2003, Michel left the corporate world to join his father’s flourishing yacht brokerage firm in his hometown of Athens. For over fifteen years, he spearheaded the yacht sales department, while actively growing the entire business and overseeing the various services that IYC provides its clients. Today, he is the global managing partner of IYC.
Michel’s expertise in the yachting market is extensive, with a specific interest in new build yachts between 30m-75m. He has years of experience working closely with some of the world’s top shipyards, cultivating relationships with industry stakeholders and yacht owners across the globe. He is committed to providing the best service to each IYC client, with their interests always as his top priority.
Michel is based out of the IYC office in Athens and is happily married with three beautiful young daughters. He is fluent in four languages.
