Conquest of 1966 is a classic motor yacht that offers timeless style alongside modern luxury. Rich in history, she was built for actor Sir Norman Wisdom in 1966 to a design by D.J. (Rick) Richardson. Her hull was originally constructed in Spain, before she travelled to the UK for outfitting and when she launched she was one of the finest superyachts ever built. Her high standards have been maintained with upgrades throughout the years, and in 2011 an extensive refit was completed – updating her technologies in the process of restoring her to her former glory.

Conquest of 1966 has become an icon of the Mediterranean. Her timeless design and elegant color scheme look as graceful now as they did back in the 1960s. She boasts three different deck spaces – a sundeck, aft deck and foredeck, which each offer something different. The sundeck gives panoramic views of the water and several places for guests to relax, including a comfortable U-shaped sofa, sun loungers, and sun pads with a retractable sun shade. A level below, the large aft deck is ideal for enjoying leisurely meals, with a full sized dining table set up for the ultimate al fresco dining experience. Wraparound decks lead from here to the foredeck, where large sun pads and sofa seating with a dinette offer an unparalleled sunbathing spot in the day and place to enjoy a sundowner at night. A large collection of water toys offer yet more fun.

Her interior has a modern and light feel, with neutral colors and soft textures layered to create casual sophistication. Small details such as leather stitched door handles elevate the design yet further. The main saloon provides ample opportunity to relax and enjoy the sea views, with several armchairs and two inbuilt L-shaped sofas. Conquest of 1966 accommodates nine guests in four bright cabins. All have air conditioning and direct access to modern bathrooms, with both the full beam master cabin and VIP suite boasting ensuites. Crew quarters hold accommodation for four, guaranteeing excellent service on board.

This beautiful vessel travels at 11 knots and is installed with Vosper stabilizers to improve comfort. With a proven charter history, she is the perfect vessel for both personal and commercial use, and her sale is a unique opportunity for lovers of classic yachts.
