With naval architecture by Fritz De Voogt, Dojo was expertly constructed from steel and aluminum at the De Vries Shipyard in the Netherlands. She was kept in excellent condition throughout the years, with regular maintenance schedules carried out by a careful owner. Dojo then underwent a major refit and rebuild between 2016 and 2018. A review of her detailed specs is highly recommended to understand the huge scope of work that was completed during this period. The extensive work list included the complete rebuilding of her engines and the introduction of countless brand new technologies, equipment and furniture pieces. The final result is considered to be one of the finest Feadship rebuilds in the world.
Dojo’s interior is a sophisticated, modern design featuring dark woods alongside a grey and cream color scheme. She can host up to 11 overnight guests in five cabins, and has accommodation for 10 crew members. The master cabin is positioned on the main deck, with the remaining en suite cabins on the lower deck, arranged as a VIP suite, two doubles and one twin with Pullman. Guests can choose to relax in either of the refined salons on the main and upper decks, and enjoy formal meals in the beautiful dining room.
Outside, the sundeck holds an elegant central bar and large sunpads, which are positioned to make the most of the surrounding vista. After sunbathing, guests can cool down under the outdoor shower or seek shade under two large umbrellas. The upper aft deck holds a beautiful circular dining suite and lounge seating, connected via glass doors with the sky lounge. The main aft deck holds an in built sofa and extendable tables, and also links with the main salon via glass doors. Custom made shade sails offer practical yet stylish cover from the heat on both aft decks. Wrap around walkways on the main deck offer seamless flow from fore to aft, and a sweeping staircase leads to the vessel’s brand new stern extension and swim platform. An additional inflatable swim platform provides yet more length and acts as a great space to step on board Dojo’s selection of water toys.
Dojo’s twin 935hp Caterpillar engines have incredibly low hours, and she has enjoyed only light use from her single owner. She cruises at 13.5 knots and is installed with zero speed stabilizers to enhance guest comfort.
