Freedom of Mind’s classic cherry wood interiors give her an elegant and timeless feel, looking as stylish today as she did on her launch in 2007. The main saloon is multifunctional with an open layout divided into different sections. This space features comfortable seating including a U-shaped sofa in soft cream colours, a custom built cocktail cabinet and entertainment centre which includes a LCD wide screen television and BOSE surround sound. The in-built dining table with relaxed seating is the perfect spot to gather for meals with friends and family. The galley is sympathetically screened from the rest of the saloon, allowing for both privacy and sociability as needed.
The flybridge can be reached via a staircase from the main saloon, and here guests will find an ideal set up for enjoying life on the water. A sound system, cool box, sunbeds, generous seating, a wet bar and electric grill are the perfect ingredients for social summer barbecues in the sun. The aft deck provides a shady spot for relaxing and dining, with both sofas and a dining suite found in this space. Guests can access the water from the transom, using the outdoor showers to rinse off after a refreshing dip in the sea, or after enjoying the vessels speedy water toys or tender.
In addition to her clever layout, Freedom of Mind has impressive speeds, cruising at 28 knots and reaching a maximum speed of 32 knots, ideal for swift travel between ports. She is the perfect all-rounder, and will make the ideal yacht for those looking for speed, looks and functionality.
Born in Ohio and spending most of his summers on the lakes on the Great Lakes, Scott knew what his passion was from an early age. He wanted to be able to enjoy the outdoors on boats. At the age of 19 he decided to pick up his things and head to Fort Lauderdale FL. While he started out painting boats for Sonic Marine in Hollywood Florida with his uncle, he then moved on into selling small runabout boats; this helped him to become familiar with the industry of brokering. In 2008 he was offered a position with WME Yachts, a smaller operation based out of Ft. Lauderdale and New York. He saw this as an opportunity to start brokering larger boats and get into the luxury yachts industry. He sold his first large yacht that very year and built up a large listing portfolio of over 20 yachts over 80ft within a year and half. In 2009 he was promoted to VP of Luxury Sales and managed several brokers under him. The success continued up until 2013 when WME was bought out. From there he joined IYC and has continued his career in the right direction bringing in high profile listings and high profile sales.
