7 days on a superyacht around Cannes

Cannes is considered one of the most iconic yachting destinations of the French Riviera and is in close proximity to St.Tropez, Nice and Monaco. A picturesque resort town, known for the Cannes International Film Festival, it combines a stunning seaside setting with fine dining, exclusive hotels and high-end shopping.

Chartering a yacht in Cannes and the surrounding area is a ‘must’ and is the ideal way to explore this beautiful region.

For guests looking for a change of scene and to perhaps escape the sometimes busy coastal towns, north of Cannes perched in the hills are the villages of St Paul de Vence, Tourrettes-sur-Loup, Mougins and Biot. There are also some wonderful islands lying off the coast accessible to guests on a yacht charter. The Lerins islands are a haven of peace and tranquility lying just off Cannes, whilst Porquerolles - slightly further down the coast beyond St Tropez – is a beautiful island that produces its own wine and has a nature conservatory that takes up 80% of the land.

Suggested 7 Day Itinerary :

Day 1: Cannes to Juan les Pins

Why not start your charter in the picturesque old Port of Cannes surrounded by all the glamour of this elegant town? A visit to Cannes is not complete without a stroll down the famous Croisette with its chic boutiques, a favorite seafront promenade. In the late afternoon, cruise round to the bay of Juan les Pins, where you can dine at the legendary Eden Roc hotel or simply remain on board to enjoy the beauty of the bay.

Day 2: Juan les Pins to Villefranche

Cruise to the one of the most beautiful bays of the Cote d’Azur: Villefranche-sur-Mer. This pretty medieval fishing village is nestled in a natural amphitheatre on whose rugged slopes gorgeous Mediterranean villas and old chateaux are clustered. After a visit to the town’s old streets and quaint quay with its parade of restaurants, return to the yacht for lunch and swimming and spend the night in the bay.

Day 3: Villefranche to Monaco

A short cruise will take you to Monaco for shopping and sightseeing. This is a wonderful place to behold by night and a great place to go out in the evening to enjoy the glitter of this very special Principality, where you can choose to dine in some of the finest restaurants in the world and try your luck at the Casino.

Day 4: Monaco

Spend the day enjoying all that Monaco has to offer – a morning at the Thermes de Monte Carlo spa, shopping, a stroll through the streets of the fairytale old town with the Prince’s palace and beautiful Cathedral, or tennis or golf if you’d like something more active.

Day 5: Cap Ferrat to St Tropez

Wake up in the bay of Cap Ferrat surrounded by dramatic cliffs and beautiful villas for a day of water sports before heading west for a sunset cruise to St. Tropez. Enjoy a warm evening in this mythical fishing village amongst the hustle and bustle of the quays and the little streets with their fashionable boutiques. Have dinner on board or in one of St. Tropez’s fabulous restaurants.

Day 6: Pampelonne Beach

A short cruise around the peninsula will take you to Pampelonne bay, a long golden beach with fashionable and fun beach restaurants. Enjoy lunch in one of the livelier places, then cruise back round to the port of St Tropez for the night.

Day 7: Cannes

Take a breakfast cruise east along the dramatic coastline of the Esterel, with its pine forests, red rocks and crystal clear waters. Arrive in the bay of Cannes in time for a late lunch at anchor between the Iles de Lérins. At the end of the afternoon, enter the old Port of Cannes and spend the evening enjoying a farewell dinner on board in this picturesque harbor.
