Extensive upgrades were made to the base Sunseeker 28m model by her owners to ensure the ultimate in luxury, numbering a value of around $2 million above the usual build cost. With all her additions too numerous to list, these include an underwater lighting package, AV upgrade, galley upgrades, lower deck dayhead option, the addition of a main deck side balcony and door, gloss black detailing and much more.

Total comfort was kept in mind during her construction with features including an upgrade to Tropical-level air conditioning, exceptionally quiet air handling units, additional sound installation in the bulkheads and a TRAC digital fin stabliser system. Powered by twin MTU 12V 2000 M94 engines – with just 915 hours on them – she cruises at 23 knots, with a maximum speed of 26 knots.

Derrick’s interior design is by Lazzarini & Pickering who created a space that is both functional and beautiful, with a modern and inviting vibe. The main onboard space is the large main saloon with wide windows, extensive seating, dining table, a pop up entertainment system and a bar. A high head room of 2.1m makes the saloon feel even bigger than it is. Accommodation is extremely generous and numbers the master suite, VIP double, a double and a convertible twin. The master suite makes use of soft leather ceilings and orange leather by Bugatti, with all other cabins featuring equally stylish and unique designs. All cabins have full entertainment systems installed.

Designed for onwater living, exterior spaces have been designed to make the most of the ample deck space. The upper deck features a retractable roof and additional sun canopy, for optional shade. A modified layout incorporates two adjustable tables that can convert between dining tables, coffee tables and sun pads to create an extremely versatile area that can be easily altered depending on the use. An upgraded sound system is installed on the upper deck, making it perfect for entertaining. Additional outdoor areas include the aft main deck, with large lounge seating, coffee tables and bar, with direct staired access up to the fly deck. Sunpads are located on the forward main deck for yet more outdoor enjoyment.

Also carried on board is a custom RIB-X tender, based on the popular eXige 5.4 model, that is able to carry up to nine people on board and ideal for day excursions.
