CHARTER THE BRAND NEW GALUX ONE WITH IYC
Enjoy the experience of sailing a catamaran with the speed of a motor yacht as you charter the brand new 64'/19.5m Galux One, now available with IYC. Built in 2020, she is in perfect condition and ready to welcome her next guests.
Unlike a traditional sailing catamaran, Galux One is powered by two Volvo Penta engines, each with 300 horsepower. However, thanks to her economic fuel consumption of 40 litres per hour and cruising speed of 12 knots, she is an eco-friendly option. Her multi-hull layout also means each of her five cabins is well-appointed and spacious for her 10 overnight guests. Further, two of the aft cabins feature private entrances to the outside, so those on board can easily step outside to enjoy the ocean breeze.
Her contemporary interior is bright, with neutral colors and comfortable soft furnishings. The generous main salon offers almost panoramic views of the exterior, with ample seating for all 10 guests to relax on. From here, large glass sliding doors lead to a further socializing space outside. Upstairs, her covered flybridge features a formal dining space with built in chairs and comfortable seating.
The notably large exterior spaces on board are thanks to the unique design of Galux One. Whereas the majority of catamarans have netting in the bow – limiting the space that can be enjoyed by guests – this vessel benefits from a teak deck in this area.
The guests on board Galux One will be served by a crew of four, a rare number for a catamaran of this size. In addition to her talented crew, Galux One promises to be a hugely popular vessel on the charter market thanks to her large array of water toys and equipment. Guests can take advantage of the warm Greek weather and enjoy her Seabob, stand up paddleboards, water skis, snorkeling equipment, fishing gear, and more. For the sun worshippers of the group, the beach club is a definite highlight.
Galux One is available to charter in Greece. Her rates are:
High Season (July/August): €39,000 per week
Mid season (June and September): €35,000 per week
Low Season (rest months): €30,000 per week
