Her contemporary interior design by Mauro Micheli of Officina Italiana Design uses neutral colours throughout. The open-plan main salon, located on the main deck, features a comfortable Minotti Andersen Slim sofa and pouf that can be enjoyed by all eight guests. Panoramic windows with fitted electric shades accentuate this space's high ceilings and large interior volume[1] , as Balance has a lower gunwale outside the salon which allows more light to enter into the room. A focal point for socialising on board, guests can also enjoy meals together at the custom marble top dining table. Moving outside, the aft deck has an inbuilt seating area with additional chairs. Upstairs on the teak decked flybridge, there is a covered seating area, dining space and a sunbeds underneath a removable awning for guests’ comfort.
Her eight guests will be accommodated in four cabins, a master stateroom, a VIP, a double and a twin. Every room is thoughtfully laid out, with each cabin benefitting from built in storage and ensuite bathrooms. The owner's cabin has numerous extra features and upgrades including manual blackout shades, an upgraded lighting system, coffee brown marble floors and sinks in the bathroom and a cleverly hidden television behind the cabin's mirrors.
The SL78 is a model from the Italian shipyard that encourages owner customization, with options for versatile layouts and extra features. As a result, Balance is one of the most well-equipped yachts in her range, with upgrades that include an exterior hardtop with an electric blade system, teak floors on the flybridge, a zero speed stabilization system (at anchor and underway), parquet floor and a fridge in the main salon, an upgraded modem for super-fast 4G WiFi internet, a wine cooler that can hold 34 bottles, and speakers in the bow area. Balance also benefits from an additional 25kW generator, and both electric bow and stern thrusters. At the owner’s request, Balance features an additional double cabin in lieu of a second twin cabin, which makes her more attractive to mixed groups.
Currently based in Croatia, Balance is an ideal vessel for island-hopping through Europe thanks to her impressive range, low fuel consumption and fuel capacity of 5,350 liters. As she has only been lightly privately used since her delivery, she reports just 450 engine hours. For day trips, her aft garage stores a stylish white and grey 2018 Williams Sportjet tender, which was recently refitted with a brand new engine and features an automatic fully integrated inflating system.
High quality technology is present throughout Balance, with upgrades to her navigation and security systems including a Raymarine Gold package with integrated dashboard and ship monitoring and CCTV cameras in the engine room and cockpit. Balance can accommodate two crew.
