Rob is a veteran yacht broker, well known throughout the yachting industry. With over three decades of experience he has an unrivalled wealth of yachting knowledge. Specialising in the new build and brokerage sales of luxury yachts, he has handled projects of all sizes and has an in-depth understanding of what is available on the market today.

Rob’s relationship with the yachting industry is life-long, having grown up working at the Grand Banks shipyard, which was founded by his father. Following many years of hands on experience at the yard it was a natural progression to pursue a career in yachting. After gaining a degree in business management he went into business with his father, building custom boats. Over the course of his long career he worked at several of the world’s best known brokerage companies before later founding Koch, Newton & Partners in 1996. He also co-founded Superyacht Sales and Charter.
