IYC has closed the sale of the beautiful 26.21m (86’) 1979 Burger Hi Banx, listed by Roy Sea. A perfect example of American pedigree yacht building, Hi Banx’s timeless and classic design incorporates many of the qualities that has made Burger
such an enduringly popular builder. Lovingly maintained over the years every upgrade has been in keeping with her heritage and original design.
High Banx’s exterior and interior design is by the Burger team, with the yacht accommodating six guests across three staterooms. She features an understated interior with a light and tasteful palette, making use of materials including light-coloured woods, marble and leather. The master suite has particularly generous proportions and is complemented by the two additional twin cabins. A spacious main saloon incorporates a large seating area and well appointed bar.
The yacht’s raised pilothouse design provides ample outdoor spaces including seating spaces on the forward and aft decks and the upper deck. Cruising at 15 knots, at a maximum of 20 knots, and powered by twin MTU engines she is extremely seaworthy and efficient when underway, with her recently upgraded engines in near-pristine condition having seen little use.
