Charter Itineraries: RED SEA

Charter Itineraries: RED SEA

An accumulation of turquoise bays, unspoiled wilderness and exotic excursions await those who journey across the Red Sea by superyacht. Stretching between the Suez Canal and the Gulf of Aden with Africa on one shore and Asia on the other, the Red Sea combines internationally acclaimed dive sites with sandy shored islands and outrageously gorgeous coral reefs. Starting out from the Sinai Peninsula in the far north, its unspoiled waterfront settlements and ancient desert shores contain all the ingredients for a diverse, marine-rich and adventure-filled superyacht charter. From the pristine escapes of Saudi Arabia to Egypt's vibrant reef ecosystems, your journey will encompass a diverse tapestry of natural beauty and cultural wonders, making it an unparalleled superyacht charter experience.

Day 1 - Sindalah Island

Upon arriving at Neom airport in Saudi Arabia , you can begin your charter vacation in style by transferring to nearby Sindalah Island via helicopter to join your yacht. Sindalah Island is an opulent escape nestled within Saudi Arabia's visionary Neom project along the stunning Red Sea coast. This exclusive haven promises immaculate beaches, vibrant marine life, and cutting-edge amenities. Once there, enjoy a welcome drink as you relax on board your yacht. Settle in, and take a dip in the turquoise water before embarking on a visit to the island's artisan villages.

Day 1 - Sindalah Island

Day 2 - Tayyib Al-ism Cayon

Cruise to the nearby Tayyib Al-ism. This mystical granite formation has been described as one of the natural wonders of Saudi Arabia, and it is no wonder. As you approach you will be stunned by this monolithic structure, rising 600 metres from the sparkling blue waters of the Gulf of Aqaba. Legends say that this is where Moses arrived after he parted the Red Sea.

As you get closer you will see that this impressive mountain is split in two, revealing a narrow canyon which can only be explored on foot. A small stream passes through, creating a little oasis. This, coupled with the shade created by the granite rocks, makes for a pleasant hike. Afterwards, cool off by enjoying some water sports back at your yacht.

Day 3 & 4 - Sharm El Sheikh

The southern coast of the Gulf of Aqaba, stretching from Tiran Island to Ras Mohammed National Park, is renowned for its stunning underwater scenery. The area is a paradise for scuba divers, thanks to its crystal-clear waters and the diverse array of exotic fish that weave through vibrant coral reefs. Sharm El Sheikh, a purpose-built resort town in this region of Egypt, is dedicated to sun-and-sea holidays, offering a family-friendly atmosphere and resort amenities, alongside world-class diving experiences. The luxury waterfront resorts here are complemented by sheltered sandy beaches, clear waters, and abundant coral reefs. With its lively social scene and easy access to the yachting hub of Hurghada, it is ideally situated for vacationers.

Popular for good reason, Sharm El Sheikh serves as the gateway to spectacular diving and the remarkable interior of Egypt, where deserts, mountain ranges, and archaeological sites like the Valley of the Kings and the Pyramids of Giza are just a short drive or flight away. Spend the day exploring, or set sail on your superyacht to the Ras Muhammad Marine Park to marvel at its impressive reefs and secluded islands. As the day winds down, anchor near the picturesque Tiran Island, famous for its crystal-clear waters and excellent diving opportunities.

Day 3 & 4 - Sharm El Sheikh

Day 5 - Sharm El Sheikh - Tawila

As Sharm El Sheikh fades into the distance, take the opportunity to unwind on deck. For those seeking a bit more activity, consider pausing at one of the excellent fishing spots en route to Tawila. Should you land a catch, request that it be freshly prepared as part of your evening meal. Arrive at Tawila in the evening, a sandy island encircled by calm, azure waters. Delight in a breathtaking sunset, accompanied by a delicious feast prepared by the onboard chef.

Day 6 - Tawila - Giftun El Saghir

Spend your day exploring the remarkable marine life around Egypt's Tawila Island, where a sheltered lagoon offers perfect conditions for swimming, snorkeling, and various water sports. In the afternoon, set sail to the aptly named "Aquarium," part of the Shaab Abu Ramada reef. This dive and snorkeling site is rich with marine life, including rays, octopus, turtles, and even an eel garden, truly embodying the Red Sea's reputation for world-class diving. In the evening, anchor near the uninhabited Giftun El Saghir Island. Known for their pristine waters and white sandy beaches, the Giftun Islands are consistently impressive.

Despite the harsh, sunbaked desert landscape above, the diverse underwater flora and fauna thrive, attracting thousands of fish, dolphins, and vibrant coral. The best anchorages are located in the shelter of the prevailing northerly winds, where snorkeling is an essential activity.

Day 6 - Tawila - Giftun El Saghir

DAY 7 - Giftun El Saghir - Hurghada

After departing from Giftun El Saghir in the morning, an ideal conclusion to your charter is the yachting hub of Hurghada. You can take a leisurely walk along the seafront or, if you're not quite ready to end the experience, indulge in a few more adventures such as camel riding or dune buggying in the Sahara. You will fly back home out of the well served Hurghada airport.
