Crescent Custom Yachts represents the craftsmanship heritage of Canada’s west coast, where innovation and precision meet a deep respect for the sea. Founded in 1985 by Jack Charles in Crescent Beach, British Columbia, the company has grown from a local builder of bespoke yachts into a globally recognized shipyard specializing in semi-custom and fully custom motor yachts from 33 m (108’) to 50 m (164’). Now based in Richmond, its facility combines advanced infrastructure with hands-on craft, offering six climate-controlled bays and a 330-ton Travelift for projects of substantial scale and complexity.

After a period of transition, the shipyard was revived in 2015 by Tim Charles, the founder’s grandson, who restored the brand’s focus on integrity and technical excellence. Each Crescent yacht is designed and constructed in-house with close collaboration from renowned designers like Gregory C.
