Shipyard History
Rossinavi is a prestigious Italian shipyard known for crafting luxury yachts. Founded in 2007 in Viareggio, Tuscany, Rossinavi quickly established itself in the high-end yacht industry, combining traditional Italian craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology and design. The shipyard's roots, however, trace back to the 1980s, when the Rossi family began building metal structures for the nautical sector. This experience laid a strong foundation for Rossinavi's future success.
In 2007, the shipyard launched its first fully custom superyacht under the Rossinavi name, marking its entry into the world of elite yacht design. From there, the company grew rapidly, earning a reputation for creating bespoke vessels that marry sleek aesthetics with advanced technology and innovative designs. Rossinavi’s designs often reflect Italian artistry, focusing on sustainability and seamless integration with the marine environment.

Notable deliveries and models
Rossinavi has delivered an impressive portfolio of notable superyachts, each showcasing the shipyard’s commitment to innovation, luxury, and bespoke craftsmanship. Rossinavi builds full-custom superyachts in steel and aluminum. The 70m HIGH POWER III (ex-NUMPTIA, 2011), a winner at the 2012 World Superyacht Awards, set an early benchmark for the long-range capability that would define the yard’s larger builds. The Prince Shark range followed with the 48.3m PARAM JAMUNA IV (2013), the first of the series, and the 48.5m OM (ex-N2H, 2017). The 63m UTOPIA IV (2018), powered by four MTU engines driving Rolls-Royce Kamewa waterjets, won at both the 2019 World Superyacht Awards and the 2019 ISS Awards.
In 2020 the yard delivered the 48.8m EIV, the 52m FLORENTIA and the 49.7m LEL. The 70.2m ice-class POLARIS (2021) became Rossinavi’s largest build at her launch, and the 65.7m LASATA (ex-ALCHEMY, 2023) was named Motor Yacht of the Year at the 2024 World Superyacht Awards. The 42.8m SEAWOLF X, launched in 2024, became the shipyard’s first catamaran, and the 59.4m AKULA (2024), launched from the Pisa facility, its first expedition yacht. The 53m HEED (2026) is an all-aluminum fast-displacement yacht. The Rossi family’s Nolimits Yachts brand adds a 30–45m explorer range, launched with the first NL45, GEMINI, in 2025.
Design collaborations on models and projects
Rossinavi is renowned for its exceptional design collaborations with some of the world’s most celebrated architects and yacht designers. Longstanding collaborator Enrico Gobbi – Team For Design styled the Prince Shark yachts, UTOPIA IV and POLARIS, as well as the interiors of LASATA, whose exterior and naval architecture come from Philippe Briand’s Vitruvius Yachts. Design Studio Spadolini styled the exterior of HIGH POWER III, and Horacio Bozzo drew the exterior of the 50m PIACERE (2021). AKULA pairs an exterior by Gian Paolo Nari with interiors by FM Architettura, while HEED was developed with Alberto Mancini and Achille Salvagni.
Fulvio De Simoni styled SEAWOLF X by adapting the lines of the Infinity 42 platform, with interiors by Meyer Davis. First revealed at the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show, the hybrid-electric catamaran earned a Judges’ Commendation at the 2025 World Superyacht Awards, the Special Project Award at the 2025 Miglio Blu Design Awards and, for Meyer Davis, the Interior Design Award (Over 40 Metres) at the 2025 International Yacht & Aviation Awards. Her technical platform also underpins the SOLSEA concept styled by Yves Béhar, while the solar-electric catamaran concept ONEIRIC was created with Zaha Hadid Architects.
Through these partnerships, Rossinavi crafts unique, tailor-made yachts that redefine luxury and push the boundaries of modern yacht design.
