Tecnomar was founded in 1987 in Viareggio, Italy, with a focus on building sleek, high-performance yachts that captured the spirit of Italian design. As demand grew, the shipyard relocated to Marina di Carrara, allowing greater production capacity and closer integration with suppliers. A turning point came in 2009 when Giovanni Costantino brought the brand into The Italian Sea Group, steering it toward innovation and global expansion.
Today, Tecnomar operates from a 164,000 m² complex that includes two dry docks, outfitting facilities, and full lifecycle services for yachts up to 328’1” (100m). Its portfolio has expanded from lightweight cruisers to bold semi-custom and custom builds in aluminium and steel. The evolution is clear in yachts like This Is It, a 142’9” (43.5m) motor catamaran that stands apart both in profile and onboard experience.
Model lines such as EVO, Domus, and the Lamborghini 63 capture different expressions of the brand’s DNA: sharp design, thrilling performance, and a willingness to push the envelope. Whether it’s a high-speed 65’6” (20m) sport yacht or a 164’ (50m) flagship tailored around a client's lifestyle, Tecnomar continues to blend technical strength with personality, creating yachts that are every bit as bold as their owners.

Tecnomar
Tecnomar is a 100% Italian shipyard producing sporty, dynamic vessels of up to 164’ (50m) in length. The company’s aim is to strike the perfect balance between modern design, high performance, and traditional Italian craftsmanship. Since their foundation in 1987, Tecnomar have been employing the most advanced technologies and newest construction techniques to their vessels, standing out for both their design and composition. As part of the Italian Sea Group, Tecnomar embraces the ‘Made in Italy’ concept, with their vessels combining modern design with a rich Italian nautical heritage - famed for attention to detail and high quality finishes.
A 2009 restructuring of the shipyard saw Giovanni Costantino taking on the position of Chairman and CEO. Under his leadership, Tecnomar’s production area was upgraded and enlarged to incorporate 100,000 square meters of space and 200 meters of dry dock. From that point onwards, Tecnomar vessels have been constructed entirely of steel and aluminium, with a focus of eco-sustainability. Current lines include the Evo 130, Evo 120, Domus 118, Nadara and Velvet. Over 280 vessels have been launched since Tecnomar’s foundation. Their modern and sporty silhouettes are instantly recognizable. This extensive fleet includes the stunning 136’6’’ (41.6m) tri-deck superyacht M/Y Condor A, and the strikingly modern 120’1’’ (36.6m) 2018 launch M/Y La Vie amongst many other luxurious vessels.
