DAY 1 - Grenada
Arriving at the Grenada Point-Salines International Airport, members of your crew will greet your plane and escort you to the Secret Harbor Marina, where you will board. After getting settled and refreshed by a light lunch, the yacht departs the marina for the quick trip to Hog Island. Enjoy a late afternoon swim or a beach stroll. As the sun begins to set, gather on the top deck for cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres. This evening brings your very first taste of the culinary delights of your private chef.
DAY 2 - Grenada
Awaken as the gentle lapping of the warm Caribbean Sea bids you “good day”. A sumptuous breakfast of your choice is set up on the aft deck. Time is your friend --relax-- the only schedule is one you set. A short tender ride back to the Secret Harbour Marina finds your guide for the day from Henry’s Safari Tours, who will whisk you off on an island tour. Driving along the western side of Grenada, past lush mountains and tropical forests, you can begin to understand why the world calls Grenada, “the Spice Isle”. Stopping first at Annandale Falls, where crystal clear mountain water cascades into a pool just perfect for a dip. After cooling your heels, you venture further up the western road to the Dougaldston Spice Estate, a historic plantation that still grows and processes spices the old-fashioned way. Here you will find cocoa, nutmeg, mace, and cloves. Along the way, your guide will recommend a place to stop for lunch, perhaps on a plantation estate. Return to the yacht at anchor off of Hog Island for a quick, refreshing swim. Dinner tonight will incorporate some of the fresh local spices.
DAY 3 - Carriacou
Awaken this morning at your leisure, after breakfast, the yacht will depart Hog Island for a cruise around the west coast of Grenada. Make sure to be on deck as you meander past St. Georges Harbor, without a doubt the most picturesque port town in the Caribbean. Peppered with French and British architectural treasures, the historic buildings in Grenada’s Capital are relics from their years of governance. Soaking up some of the sun’s rays, you gently motor past the lush mountains of Grenada on your way to Carriacou. A brief stop off at the tiny Isle de Ronde for a swim and perhaps a game of beach frisbee, as a late lunch is being readied. After lunch at your leisure, ARGYLL will depart for the quick cruise to Tyrell Bay in Carriacou (Carriacou is a Carib word meaning “island surrounded by reefs”) for this evening’s anchor spot.
DAY 4 - Union Island
After an early morning swim or perhaps a kayak, enjoy breakfast anchored in Tyrell Bay. Today a beach BBQ is in order, just around the corner at Sandy Island, which is little more than a sand spit with some palm trees. Take care not to destroy any of the island's vegetation, as it may be the only thing holding the little island together. Enjoy the completely protected waters, have a snorkel or a kayak, as your crew sets up a delicious lobster beach party. Because Sandy Island is not a good overnight anchorage before sunset the yacht will move to Union Island for overnight anchorage.
DAY 5 - Petite St. Vincent
As the sun starts its climb into the day, the Captain will take the tender to check in with Customs and Immigration, which will cover the area from Union Island to St. Vincent. Enjoy this morning anchored in Chatham Bay, where there is a long sandy beach to explore along with an excellent snorkeling spot at the northern point of the bay. Mid-morning, your yacht will head off for the short cruise to Petite St. Vincent, otherwise known as PSV to those in the know. PSV is home to a very small, ultra-private resort, of the same name, a beautiful beach, and an amazing restaurant. Enjoy lunch at anchor, and then an afternoon of snorkeling and beach fun. Possibly this afternoon you can go for a dinghy ride to Petite Martinique for a little bit of exploration. This evening enjoy dinner at the resort’s restaurant while enjoying the vista of the beautiful yacht at anchor and Petite Martinique in the background.
DAY 6 - Tobago Cays
This morning begins the Robinson Caruso adventure as you depart PSV for the Tobago Cays. A small group of deserted islands, the Tobago Cays are completely protected by Horseshoe Reef. The surrounding reef and waters are a kaleidoscope of gold, brown, blue, turquoise, and green. Strong swimmers can just snorkel between the four islands, but less experienced children would be better off being dropped on one of the cays by tender. The crew sets up a BBQ on Baradel Cay, with its perfect point beach. Make sure to follow the trail and sign the Pirates Log Book, or just read some of the humorous entries there. Spend the day on the beach and exploring the area by dinghy or doing water sports. A quick trip to Mayreau by dinghy can also be on today’s agenda. As the sun sets, the stars begin to fill the night’s sky. With no electricity on any of the little Cays, the views of the heavens are spectacular.
DAY 7 - Tobago Cays to Mustique
This morning enjoy breakfast and the view of the Tobago Cays. Perhaps some more snorkeling or beachcombing is in order. Enjoy lunch underway and you leave the Tobago Cays for Mustique. Anchoring in Britannia Bay, prepare to go ashore for a quick island tour and a stop at any one of the island’s beautiful beaches. The island is very picturesque so don’t forget a camera. The prerequisite stop at Basil’s Bar is a must-do, for a refreshing cocktail and perhaps even a chat with Basil himself.
DAY 8 - Mustique
There are at least two daily flights on LIAT connecting Mustique to Bridgetown, Barbados, where your guests can make a direct connection to the United States.
