IYC AT THE 2017 MEDITERRANEAN YACHT SHOW - WRAP UP

Like every year IYC had strong presence at the 2017 Mediterranean Yacht Show including an impressive line up of 7 yachts on display. Held in Nafplion, Greece, from April 29 to May 2 the show brought together some of the Mediterranean’s finest charter yachts and was an important event for IYC thanks to its longstanding ties with Greece.
The IYC show calendar opened with the Captains dinner on April 28, the night before the show began. Hosted at the boutique 3sixty HOTEL, the dinner brought together some of the industry’s best and most respected charter yacht captains for a night of fine dining and networking. The IYC social program continued with numerous events on-board its fleet allowing for guests to enjoy the yachts at their finest and yacht crews to display their excellent hosting skills.
Events included a lunch on board 47.5m Oasis where guests had the opportunity to enjoy Greek inspired dishes from all chefs of the IYC charter fleet. A French themed breakfast was held onboard 24.4m Dilias and a creatively themed "Ancient Greece meets Modern Greece" breakfast was hosted on 27m Tsouvali. 37m Pandion invited guests to enjoy a relaxed brunch onboard, while 50m Ouranos and 34m Ithaki hosted an invitation-only dinner and lunch respectively.
A key highlight of the show was the invitation-only annual IYC party hosted at 3sixty, with this year’s theme ''Tropical''. Guests, dressed in bright colors and flowery shirts danced the night away until the early morning hours while the party demonstrated the IYC team's ability to create unforgettable memories.
Additional show highlights included participation of Ouranos, Oasis and Tsouvali in the Chef's competition and massages onboard all yachts on the fleet.
