IYC Celebrates a Successful Newport Charter Yacht Show 2026
The 2026 Newport Charter Yacht Show once again brought the U.S. charter industry together in the iconic setting of Newport, Rhode Island. Celebrating more than 35 years as one of the industry's premier events, the show welcomed charter brokers, yacht owners, Captains, and industry professionals for four days of yacht inspections, networking, and friendly competition from June 22–25.
IYC was proud to showcase two exceptional charter yachts, AWAY and BELLA VITA, each demonstrating the outstanding service, creativity, and professionalism that define the IYC charter fleet.
Throughout the show, the yachts participated in several of the event's signature competitions, where crew members had the opportunity to showcase their talents beyond daily charter operations. The prestigious chef, cocktail, and tablescaping competitions highlighted the creativity and dedication that elevate the guest experience on board.
BELLA VITA enjoyed exceptional success, with the yacht's Chief Stewardess earning 1st Place in the Tablescaping Competition for a beautifully executed table display that impressed judges with its creativity and attention to detail. The yacht's Chef also secured 2nd Place in the highly competitive Chef Competition.
AWAY also delivered an impressive performance throughout the show. The yacht received the Broker & Fan Favorite Award for Table Setting, a recognition voted on by attending charter brokers and visitors, while her Chef earned 3rd Place in the Chef Competition. In an inspiring act of generosity, the Chef announced that his competition prize would be donated to charity, transforming a personal achievement into an opportunity to give back to the community and embodying the spirit of hospitality that extends well beyond the yacht.
Beyond the awards, the Newport Charter Yacht Show provided an invaluable opportunity for charter brokers to step aboard, meet the crews, and experience firsthand the exceptional hospitality that defines each yacht.
