IYC Crew raises over $3500 for charity
Winning crew, their Statistics, and their yachts included:
- The crew of C2 who completed 406 km, beating their record of 292km as a crew to win a Cabana courtesy of Loterie Farm.
- Luxury Water Toys donated a VIP Luxury Water experience to Captain Will Kaye, who was the Captain Running the most kilometres.
- Ignacio Rivas of MY Baton Rouge, completed 37km, taking the title of Best Guy to win a Go Pro camera courtesy of National Marine.
- Ashling Kavanagh of MY C2, completed 32km, taking the title of Best Girl to win a set of Beats Headphones and a Magnum of champagne courtesy of VSF
The event was supported by the generous sponsorships from the following companies: IGY Marina, National Marine, Deckers, Fiji Water, VSF, Luxury Water Toys, Ocean Pantry, Loterie Farm, Karacters Beach Restaurant, Bamboo Sushi Restaurant.
The I Can Foundation of St. Maarten was established in 1996 to assist families and children in need. Through educational programs, the I Can Foundation equips children with life long skills. I Can Home is a foster home for children who have been victims of neglect, abuse or other social issues. Residents receive round the clock care, treatment programs, guidance, and other activities to prepare them for the future.
