Dubbed ‘a sale like no other,’ The Goffs London Sale takes place annually and combines an exclusive racehorse auction with a vibrant garden party atmosphere. Now in its sixth year, the 2019 edition brought together a mix of thoroughbred owners, VIP guests, trainers, and racing celebrities from more than 33 countries around the world.

The sale attracts a limited number of premium brands as event partners and this was an ideal partnership opportunity for IYC and One&Only Resorts, who were able to provide attendees of the Goffs London Sale with a tantalizing insight into the world of luxury vacations – both on the water and on the land.

The 2019 edition of the Goffs London Sale took place on a beautiful summer day, with guests enjoying the spectacle of 22 lots, with over £3 million of sales completed. The top result of the day was the sale of Mohican Heights for £520,000 while Phoenix Ladies Syndicate and Forever In Dreams were bought and put to the test almost immediately at Royal Ascot.

Members of the IYC team were in attendance at the Goffs London Sale, including IYC Sales Consultant Richard Gray who reported back on a highly successful event with strong interest from guests wanting to learn more about the complementary world of luxury yachting.

 “The Goffs London Sales 2019 was the first event we’ve done outside of the normal yachting calendar – usually we do the Monaco Yacht Show, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and events like that – but we were sold on this unique event inside London,” says Gray. “We recently opened a London office in September 2018 – making it the lucky number 13 office for IYC – and what better way to start the summer than out here in Kensington Palace Gardens.”
