Like so many of IYC's team, Michael grew up on the water spending his first 18 summers in Cape May, New Jersey working in his father's shipyard and serving as mate on his various boats. After gaining his MBA degree in Boston, Michael acquired a charter sport fishing boat and operated between Florida, the Bahamas and Nantucket, Massachusetts. After five years, Michael joined the Merchant Marine and earned his 1600 ton master's license.

Following 10 years as a yacht and ship captain, Michael returned to shore, founding a marine service company and beginning his career as a yacht broker. His lifelong love of the sea and decades of hands on experience, placed him in an extremely good position, in his role as a broker, to advise clients based on his personal experience and knowledge. From 1990 until now Michael worked for two prominent yacht brokerage firms before joining IYC.

Having worked for more than 30 years in the marine industry, Michael has a wealth of knowledge for IYC's clients and is able to provide valuable support and insight on all aspects of the sales and charter sectors including service and new build projects. Working together with a group of fellow experienced brokers, Michael is looking forward to establishing the new Palm Beach office and working alongside IYC's large global network of offices and staff.
