The Monaco Yacht Show takes place at the Port Hercule, Monaco. 

Most yachts require a pre-scheduled appointment. Access to the boats during the show is at the discretion of the broker, dealer, or manufacturer. To make the most of your visit at the Show, we recommend scheduling your yacht viewings with as much advance notice as possible as appointments tend to fill up.

Tickets are sold exclusively through the Show's official online ticket office. There is no ticket desk on-site, so we recommend purchasing in advance. Standard Visitor Passes are valid from Thursday; visiting on the Wednesday preview requires an MYS VIP or Prestige VIP Pass.

Most visitors travelling from outside the French Riviera fly into Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport. From there, transfer to Monaco by helicopter (around 7 minutes) or by private car (around 30 minutes, traffic dependent).

The Monaco Yacht Show can easily be explored on foot, with most areas located within Port Hercule. Complimentary electric golf carts shuttle visitors between exhibition areas from 10 am to 6:30 pm (until 6 pm on Saturday), and shuttle boats run transfers between docks on the same schedule, both reserved for show visitors rather than the general public. Courtesy cars are available for MYS VIP and Prestige VIP Pass holders to move between the show and Monaco, departing from the same points, on the same hours. IYC also provides private cars for its clients, as well as tenders to reach yachts at anchor.

It's okay to take photos and videos within the show's exhibition tents and quaysides. Boarding a yacht to film or take photos requires permission from the exhibiting company, and any filming elsewhere in Monaco outside the show boundaries requires prior authorisation from the Monaco Press Centre. Drones are banned throughout the show period. For 2026, that's from 8 am on 19 September to 6 pm on 27 September, with only the Show's official service provider authorised to operate one.

While you may be viewing yachts as potential purchases or charters, remember that you are a guest on board. Always respect the yacht and follow the crew's instructions. Viewings should be scheduled in advance with a broker; if you do not have an appointment, ask permission before stepping aboard. Guests are expected to remove their shoes when boarding, and it is best not to use the yacht's facilities during visits. It is also recommended to be discreet and avoid asking personal questions about the yacht's owner. If you are accompanied by children, please ensure they remain under close supervision at all times.

The Monaco Yacht Show is organised into several dedicated areas. The Dockside Area is the main exhibition zone, where superyachts and luxury tenders are berthed for viewing alongside the brokers, shipyards, and naval architects behind them. The Sailing Yacht Area and Designer Gallery showcase sailing yachts and design and architecture talent respectively, while the Adventure Area features the latest yacht toys and gadgets. The Blue Wake™ programme highlights innovations focused on reducing yachting's environmental impact. The Upper Deck Lounge, reserved for MYS VIP and Prestige VIP Pass holders, offers hospitality and showcases complementary luxury sectors such as aviation, art, and high-end goods.

During the Monaco Yacht Show, several yachts available for sale and charter are anchored nearby and open for viewings. To arrange your transfer and schedule a visit, simply contact an IYC broker, who will assist you throughout the process and accompany you onboard. IYC operates a fleet of tenders, with service available daily from the show's opening at 10 am until 6 pm.

While there is no formal dress code, comfortable and practical yet elegant attire is recommended for the warm September weather on the Riviera. Light, breathable fabrics are ideal for walking the docks and touring yachts throughout the day. Choose shoes that are easy to slip on and off, as most yacht viewings require removing footwear. To stay comfortable in the sun, don't forget a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

The weather in Monaco at the end of September is generally warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures averaging in the mid-20s°C (mid-70s°F). While conditions are usually pleasant, occasional rain showers are possible.
