IYC prides itself on providing exemplary customer service, with bases in yachting hubs throughout the world; the opening of this new office will provide even greater support for customers in the Great Lakes region.

Serving this area is of huge importance to IYC, with over 33% of all registered boats in the US located in the Great Lakes area and several of the company’s Florida-based clients choosing to spend their summers there. The location of the new office means that the Great Lakes team will also be well placed to serve clients in Chicago and Toronto in neighboring Canada.

Both David Bourbeau and Randy Kluge are hugely experienced brokers, having worked together as business partners in the Great Lakes region for many years. Randy began yachting at an early ageand has worked in the boating sector for more than 40 years. Having sold hundreds of yachts over his career he has also been invovled in several new builds, both in the USA and offshore. David too has built his career around yachting, having also grown up sailing on the Great Lakes and working in the industry ever since. His experience includes ownership of the South River Marine marina in Michigan, a huge 60,000 square feet facility, as well as the sale and service of numerous yachts. Fitting well with the IYC ethos, long term relationships with clients is key with David who has worked with many clients for the duration of his career.
